Seat belts should NEVER be soaked or submerged in water. It changes the tensile behaviors of the fibers which are intended to be very strong and have a tiny bit of longitudinal give to flatten crash forces over time. Also they are fire retardant and strong cleaners may strip those properties.

@@burntsky64 unfortunately, the stretching of the fibers does not rebound when the water evaporates. Moreover, once the water dissolves some of the fire retardant treatment, it doesnt magically recoat the fibers after it evaporates.

Easier propane tank trick is simply use a milk crate and a tie down strap.

The screw repair should be a temporarily one and might be dangerous when driving fast on german Autobahn. But for driving in city traffic it should work 👍

4:25 the hooks on the bottom part of the seat back are not for securing cargo with ratchet straps, although it can be done. They are for baby and child seats to be secured to.

@@JA-rc4uy ... I believe the words were "the hooks used for car seats" so I made the broad presumption that "car seat" = child car seat. I have to admit, those hooks are fairly sturdy. OTOH, I'm one of those guys who figured out that you could use a seatbelt to hold almost anything on a seat, grocery bags included. Works even better if the seatbelt is holding a milk crate, then you can pile anything in there.

@@rupe53 oh I got you, "car seat hooks" I guess can be read both ways 😁. I just happend to read it differently. I read it as "the hooks on the cars seats" 👍

To wyciąganie samochodu z błota, to zaadoptowana metoda "na chopka" z kopalnianego podziemnego transportu szynowego. Gdy z torów wypadł wagonik, to łańcuch do lokomotywy i wagonika, a pod łańcuch klocek drewniany ok. 1 m długości umieszczony skośnie i oparty dołem o podkład toru. No i "chop". Wagon na torze. Stąd nazwa. Z BHP to nie miało wiele wspólnego, ale skuteczne nad wyraz. 🤫🤫🤫

On the first one: I seriously doubt that most chassis are made of plastic. At least at the moment most cars should still rather be made from steel and/or aluminum. Been to car plants before and also worked for a large car manufacturer and the chassis/body would contain some plastics but still be mostly made from tin steel that gets shaped in a huge press.

I tried it to get a dent out did not work and also got some paint off in the process of taking the tape off. Yeah really good idea 💡🤣🤣🤣. Easier and probably most effective is a suction cup. Like what they use for windows those hold are strong and will definitely get a dent out and you will not damage your paint

Use a milk crate to hold propane tanks...they fit PERFECTLY in them and are easy to secure

A lot of these are good ways to end up causing accidents or even getting yourself killed. Do NOT try and 'repair' a punctured tyre. Replace it or you're risking a blowout. God help you if you're driving at high speeds. Also, don't use fucking tape to tow another car! Get a proper tow rope. If you're in the position to ever be towing another car you shouldn't have to be cheap about it.

Box sealing tape is OK to pull a dent out,in other words sellotape. Just stand back and watch the clear coat and paint get ripped off the panel! I've seen this happen before.

My rear tire feel off while on a road trip and didn't have the funds to replace it so I put the back bearing in place the best i could and took my stretchy belt off and wrapped it the control arm and the wheel bearing and tied it of with a few half knots and zip tied it so it would stay in place and took my other stretchy belt and wrapped it around again and Zip tied it also and I drove from Minnesota to Seattle through the snow over all the passes and even went 4x4 in Montana up dirt trails that big 4x4 trucks would go on and my wheel stayed on the whole time and then drive from Seattle to Pennsylvania and tire stayed in place the whole entire trip and took that trip a few months ago and to this day my tire is still held on by 2 belts and some zip ties I swear to God sorry duct tape we upgraded to belts and zip ties
