Electrician here. Don't solder your wires together or use a drill to twist them. Soldering used to be normal 60 years ago but it's not a good way to do it and very messy. Very hard to take apart too. Twisting wires with a drill can also make it hard to take it apart and damage the wire if you over tighten.

It’s a zipper…I used to use them all the time…definitely do what he does and use a stronger base tape and then tape the zipper onto that

"Zip ties are a great way to hang pipe" well so is duct tape. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. I'm sure it's easier to find what's called two-hole-straps and do it the right way, than it is those very proprietary and specific zipties.

That is not at all what galvanizing is. Galvanization is dipping steel into zinc to add a layer of protection. The caption in the video is correct

And it would be one thing if I was the only one that had the same issue but I'm not. But you're already quite aware of that aren't you?

@8: 19 NO!!!! pull out the sink pedestal and put the waterproof flooring under it ffs! I've just spent a WEEK pulling up an entire ROTTEN SUB FLOOR and had to replace ALL OF IT (at a cost of £2000 to the customer) because the seal on the flooring that had been cut around the pedestal like in this video (and around the toilet) had FAILED and the sub floor had rotted out. If the waterproof flooring had been laid UNDER the sink pedestal and toilet (as I did it) the floor would still be fine because no water can get underneath. stupid tip, do not do this !!!!!

@@evilotis01 noo - didn't say that, I treat the sub floor with a waterproofer, even though the subfloor is made of moisture resistant flooring - then a layer of marine ply also treated with the same product, and the joints between the marine ply sealed with silicone, the vinyl, *should* be enough of a barrier as long as it remains undamaged. my point was that cutting the vinyl is pretty much a guarentee water will seep under the vinyl - whereas laying it under the sink pedestal and toilet will dramatically reduce that chance, as long as it remains undamaged.

Yes as someone who has to ground alot of machinery and equipment copper being a great conductor for electricity and takes a long time to corrode depending on where you are trying to ground is how deep you need to put the wire or grounding rod under ground. Looks like they are putting it around 6 feet under which is the average depth it should be for gravel and sand. They strapped it to the rebar to keep it from moving around and or coming closer to the surface because if it isn't deep enough it would ve a pointless grounding wire the rest of the wire will go up to the surface and be connected to anything metal on the exterior of the house so if lighting strikes it it'll be redirected into the earth and be dispersed.

Это из серии ставили розетки, но не подумали, как поднимется пол после укладки покрытия, какой плинтус будет. Теперь режут плинтус, чтобы обойти розетку. Это же косяк в чистом виде. В таком случае в этом видео надо давать не советы, как обойти, а сразу дать один совет: ребяяятаааа.... Продумайте всё сначала, просчитайте всё, где что будет и какого размера, дайте еще запас немного га всякий случай и тогда подгонять плинтус не придется! 😂

Some tricks/hacks or whatever you want to call them are so banal and yet so spectacular that you practically get a brain explosion when you see them for the first time and think to yourself, old logical but so ingenious! I mean 0:11: Of course, logical!! And this is only one of them!
