This is the first "life hacks" video I've ever watched that wasn't utterly ridiculous garbage ideas. Well-done actually useful tips here. That dowel joint needs glue across all joint surfaces though

Nah... A lot of them are garbage and have been shown in other videos. It is must be the same things just keep getting recycled and spit back out as original. Many of these hacks are better off in the dumpster and people use the proper tools for the job instead of doing these which either would cost more or take more time.

The short piece about mounting that sink could be problematic. It's quick and holds, but if that sink cracks, at some point, you will hate the guy who chose that lazy hack. You will have to chisel that sink off of the bottom of the counter. I have had to do it hundreds of times; it's no fun. There is a real big chance that you will permanently damage your counter. The proper mounts (brackets) are not that hard to affix correctly.

How does adding dowels at the steam line make the joint tighter? As long as the wood is cut correctly to fit together, you could just as easily put the glue at the seams and rubber band or clamp it together until it dries.
