Great restoration! Really thorough.These bikes were all over Vietnam 20/30 years ago.This is a pre war German DKW in drag very similar to most of the other East European offerings from the early post war years.MZ ( DDR)though did refine the design and brought out the best this two stroke arrangement could offer. Reliable, easy to repair at home and inexpensive to buy.Greetings from Ireland!

I had the privilege to talk to a gentleman with a Russian cycle and a side car. He took the time to explain it. Was surprised that it had a reverse gear. It here in Boulder CO and a nice maintained cycle. A must see.

@@user-rq6rx5cp7i конечно первый я также собрал , но это было 37 лет на зад , а сегодня так никто уже ( кроме его конечно ) не собирает , я сегодня занимаюсь восстановлением минсков , так как собрал двигатель этот рукожоп , да и Минск в целом , для меня это дичь полная ! 🤦 Я собираю двигатель , молоток никогда в руки не беру , только всё на тепловом расширении , ( есть такой термин или нет , хрен его знает , сам придумал ! 😀) Я этого спеца , мог бы взять себе в помощники , для разборки мотоцикла и для того чтобы он всё отмыл , ну и алюминий чтобы отполировал , больше он ни на что не годится !

Pretty cool but he should have converted to led lights to save wear on the changing system. Plus have a brighter head light 🔆 .....Porting the cylinder, adding a reed valve/window piston & using an expansion pipe would make more power.

Человек просто молодец .Минск она мощностью чуть слабее чем Восход .Зато она неприхотливая техника была.А Восход капризная была.Эх время , времечко .А какой свистящий красивый звук был у Минск .Хотя мне почти 60 , но всёравно до сих пор помню.Привет из Казахстана Автору спасибо .

Ага. супер. у меня был почти такой же. красненкий, но моделька постарше, с низким передним крыло.. не новый. тоже папа на 12 лет подарил. ) Реставратор ставит родной генератор переменного тока) . а потом еще аккумулятор на борт.. похоже не разобрался с советской электрикой)) наверное переделал зажигание под постоянный ток с китайской катушкой.

2:46 при запрессовке в корпус, давить надо на внешнюю обойму. Так, что скорей всего долго они не проходят

👍 в середине 70-х учился ездить на отцовской венгерской Паннонии". В 1978 г. отец купил новенькую Яву-634-8-00 .Чтобы на ней везде ездить в 1979 г. в 16 лет учился в ДОСААФ .Практические занятия и сдача вождения были на "Минске"... Не Ява конечно , но тоже неплохой мотоцикл , особенно для сельской местности.

Круто от-шаманил! Подростком жил в сельской местности. На "Минск" всегда искали и ставили, вилку от "Восхода", задние амортизаторы от "Восхода", на крайний случай от "ИЖ". После определенного пробега, вторая скорость, у них выскакивала или рыкала.

*У Минска был невероятный уровень надёжности, - он заводился даже с почти полностью открученой свечкой, а вот Восход очень капризный мот был, завести его всегда было проблемой😂*

@@Mr_Demian У друга "Минск" лет 10 на улице стоял (он в армию ушел, потом на контракт). Сгнило сиденье и покрышки все растрескались. Ради прикола, выкрутил ему свечу, плеснул в цилиндр бензин, свечу на место - со скрежетом но завелся! У меня не было "Восхода", но была "Сова", мотор 3м-01 у которого не было восходовских болячек. И заводилась четко и с коробкой никаких проблем.

Sebenarnya adalah faktor niat atau tidak. Rusia bisa bikin Soyuz dan pesawat luar biasa tapi dalam membuat sepeda motor tidak pernah mempunyai niat yang sungguh😅😅

Excellent work but at my opinion the rear shock absorbers must been black or chrome, the blue-yellows colour destroy the classic look of this bike era. ❤
