Tips = reading instructions carefully on how to use tools correctly. Hacks = how they used to do it in the olden days. We just complicated it, cuz you know… more tools, more $$ spent.

Sres. de QUANTUM TECH HD, olvidan que sus excelentes videos los ven Miles de Personas, que o no saben nada de ingles, o poco de ingles como yo, que mientras voy intentando traducir ya no puedo prestar atencion a la imagen, pir lo cual no me entero de su artilugio expuesto. Como dice el refran, una imagen, minivideo en este caso, vale por 1.000 palabras. Afortunamente son pocas las fotos subtituladas. Gracias

I feel like most these 'solutions' require a welding rig, angle grinder and random fasteners to create things that already exist... but still appreciate witnessing the ingenuity : )

Ex: @9:10... someone spent 4 hrs recreating the claw of a hammer ...Or the grinded nut to carve relief for same sized bolt. You COULD do that, over and over for every different sized bolt you use, OR just do what ppl have been doing for hundreds of years and just use a chisel. Sigh.

The mower on the pin & string method takes10x longer to mow the same area than it does to just push the mower.

Yes, but that also requires me to actually be there. I used a bigger drum for the rope, to make it shorten more each circle, back when I had a lawn worthy of this stuff.

Есть неплохие идеи,но некоторые советы просто лютая дичь. Я бы знатно охренел,если бы у меня дома электрик вырезал отверстие под подрозетник консервной банкой))

Это на тот случай, когда под рукой нет соответствующего инструмента, а вырезать отверстие очень надо. А у квалифицированного электрика весь нужный ему инструмент должен быть при себе.

Don't ever use the tool from the thumbnail when I was in school to become a mechanic. our teacher would fail us for using a cheater pipe or bar. because a tool can only handle so much force and making them longer can break them and lead to pieces flying at you. He would say use the right tool for the job.

Well... It is nowhere near as strong as the Bar Clamps and Lifters designed for the purpose. And, if you have the grinder and a welder to do it, you can probably afford them.

Наращивать ключ запрещено правилами ТБ, но, конечно, это касается куска простой трубы, здесь все таки надежное приспособление. Но почему это надо делать осторожно! Длина ключа зависит от диаметра резьбы, от болта, для которого он предназначен и увязана, так сказать, со среднестатистической силой руки. Значительно нарастив его можно сдуру не почувствовать момент срыва резьбы или обрыва тела болта. Осторожнее надо. Но вещь хорошая.

Даже при таком "надёжном" приспособлении остаётся большая вероятность, что, к примеру, лопнет один рожок на ключе, а так и до травм недалеко. Рожковые ключи очень нежелательно удлинять подручными приспособлениями ВООБЩЕ. Если требуется какое-то повышенное усилие, то вместо рожкового ключа надо взять что-то более подходящее, например головку с соответствующим удлинителем. А эта лепнина из разряда "голь на выдумки хитра".

I regularly visit buffets in different cities around the states. Before I go to a buffet, I will place 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. After entering the buffet, I sneak the corndogs into some of the fried food section trays. It is such a joy for me to see other customers of the buffet eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
