I’m a carpenter and I see no skill in this build improper foundation. The posts should have been dug in at least 3 feet it might last 5 years the weather change in the dirt will get it out level quick

I enjoyed every second of this, just amazing what u can do if you put your mind to it. Yes he could have burned the post to cut cost but he did it his way and I thought it was great. There’s more than one way to get to Walmart too but I enjoyed the experience.

This is something they would build back in the early 16 1700s except they wouldn't deal the water from being able to get out of the foundation logs and probably would of put the house on a rock foundation so it didn't settle and ride as bad as this one will till the posts for of after a year maybe 2 if it's a dry area

Домом это, даже условно назвать нельзя. У нас в России это называется сараем, дачным домиком или временным укрытием, а по сути человеческая конура. Отдаю должное автору за большой труд и навыки при строительстве. Удачи!

It would make a good cabin in the woods. I wouldn't want to live in it though, it's not very well insulated and it's too flammable.

Better hope it doesn't snow their but it looks like it does. Their is a thing called a snow load witch means your supposed to use certain size materials for load barring parts of structure.

The only thing I would say is when try to read the script it was hard to read in white. By the time you read it the scene has gone on another 2-3 steps. Feel s like the video was really sped up a bit too quickly as you couldn’t see what was bronze made. Good video though

It will last maybe 5 yrs the quality of work done is laughable no posts are in the ground enough to ensure a solid foundation and his stair steps are built in a senseless way Those won’t last that long either a good wind will push the whole thing over

@@elistutzman3760 I own a house built in 1973 by one man who only had one good eye. It sits on footings resting on the ground, in the frozen prairies of Canada. Is the place crooked? Absolutely. Do some doors have hard time closing at different times of the year? Sure. But it's still standing and shows no sign of falling apart.
